Actress, Singer and Songwriter; Alana (Pronounced Ah-Lay-Nah) is back with her new music single titled "Alive" produced by Tune~Adiks producer; Don Candiani. “Alive” is Alana’s follow up to her 2013 hit single "Subliminal". Alana was previously known for her early 90’s international hits "Burning", "Always" and "Love Changes which she recorded alongside DJ/Producer MK and released on Virgin Records.
In the year 2000, the Detroit native moved to the United Kingdom to concentrate on her acting career. She has toured the United States and Europe performing in off-Broadway plays as well as been featured in many TV and Radio commercials. In 2007, Alana starred alongside actor Jean Claude Van Dam in the film "Until Death" and recently voiced the animated character 'Tisha' in the 2013 release of the award winning video game; Far Cry 3.
In 2011, Producer MK remixed and re-released “Burning” with the UK label, Defected Records and followed up with “Always” in 2013. Both remixes received huge club play which gave Alana the itch to make a comeback. In 2013, Alana signed with Nene Musik and released “Subliminal” which continued her momentum and was supported by many international DJ’s and radio stations around the world.
“Alive” is a happy, feel good song which makes you want to dance. It is currently being serviced to Billboard DJ’s and Mix Show jocks. Followed by a radio campaign.
